I'm working towards becoming a software designer/developer, combining my technical background with user-centered thinking. I'm passionate about bridging the gap between complex technology and real people—creating intuitive, accessible experiences that genuinely solve user needs. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on various projects that have shaped my approach to design and development. It's been anything but linear as you'll see, but I'm excited for the next chapter.

I started my career working for small businesses in my area that I knew personally. Working at a Non-Profit for under-privileged families ignited my passion for creating user-centric technologies that truly help. This experience allowed me to take pleasure in learning, and reinforcing things like simple HTML, CSS, and Python. To this day my favorite form of creating is playing with styles and structures on webpages.
Being caught in the rat race, I left a lot of my creative-centered technical passions in the past. And this is the beginning of bringing them back to the surface. I genuinely love the intersection of design and technology, and become enthralled with figuring out the best ontologoical approach to a process while being visually engaging as well.
Outside of work, I spend much of my time staying active or being outdoors. When it's too cold to do this, as it often is in Michigan, I love to read and write, explore the world around me, and enjoy coffee in the mornings.
